Attach ‘Certificate of Destruction’ to Transfer Work Order

Before changing the Posting Status status of the Transfer Work Order can be updated to Posted, attach the a Certificate of Destruction to the work order in the Attachments tabmust be attached first.

  1. Search for Open the Transfer Work Order in one of two ways:

    • From Manifest Consolidation by loading orders where Status is Shipped and selecting the Period when the batch left the facility.

    • From Customer > Search > Invoice/Work Order/Reference/PO Number and then entering the work order number in the search box.

    Open the Work Order and select the from the Manifest Consolidation screen.

  2. Select the Attachments tab.

  3. Click on the green '+' icon and select Add Attachment and the . The 'Add Attachment to Service Record Record’ popup will display.

  4. Select Browse PDF to search for the document Certificate of Destruction in a local file on your computer.

  5. Enter an External ID to identify what the document being attached is.

  6. (Optional) Select the Display in Customer Portal check box if the attachment should also be available to view in the portal.

  7. Select Upload when finished. If the document has uploaded successfully it will display as a line item on the screen of the Attachments tab.

Post Work Order

After the Certificate of Destruction has been attached and any other necessary tabs completed (based on your company’s procedures), the Status for status of the work order can be updated to Posted.
