Setup: Line of Business

Pathway: Set Up > Services > Line Of Business > (Select Work Type) > (Enable Work Type Default Charge Codes)

Enable Work Type Default Charge Codes in Update Line Of Business to limit what service charge codes are included when work order is created by the application. Once enabled you can select which to include in each work type using the tools below.

Not sure what this means. I made an attempt but I think its wrong.- this is needs to be more clear. What tools?

Setup: Work Type

Pathway: Set Up > Operations > Work Type Set Up > Update Work Type

Using the Update Work Type tool in the Work Type Set Up screen, select Line Of Business and Service Type and Add or Remove Charge codes to automatically apply.

Add or Remove Default Charge Codes:

  1. Double click on the Work Type to open the Update Work Type editor.

  2. Select the Add/Remove Default Charge Code tab.

  3. Click the + to add a Charge Code and - to remove a Charge Code.

  4. Click Save when finished.

Note to Isabel - the images make this confusing. First image should be of the Work Type Setup screen to help illustrate how the Update Work Type window is populated. The second image should then be the Update Work Type popup window with the highlight around the Add/Remove Default Charge Code and the charge code examples.

Setup: Charge Code

Pathway: Set Up > Services > Charge Code > Update Charge Code > (Work Type tab)

Use the Charge Code Set Up screen to add or remove charge codes in the Work Types tab.

  1. Double click on the Charge Code you would like to update.

  2. Click on the Work Types tab.

  3. Click on the + to add a Work Type or the - to remove a Work Type.
