Pathway: Setup > Operations > Disposal/Ship Location; Transporters; Manifest Consolidation Eligible

The following article outlines system setup requirements for successful use of the Manifest Consolidation tool in the Operations module. Setup includes the following:

Setup: Disposal/Ship Location

Pathway: Setup > Operations > Disposal/Ship Location

The Disposal/Ship Location identifies the facilities where waste is either received at or will be transferred to. Setup here is important for Transfer Work Order automation in the Manifest Consolidation Batch tool.

Add a Ship Location

*Note to Matthew - is there a difference between ship/disposal locations? Wondering if I shouldn’t have these sections broken out like I do, but I didn’t think every location required the Auto Transfer WO to be filled out. Let me know your thoughts.

  1. Select the green '+' icon to add a new location.

  2. Complete all required fields in the Basic Settings tab of the Add Disposal/Ship Location popup editor. Required fields are highlighted in red.

    • Consider completing additional fields based on industry/company requirements.

  3. Select Save when finished.

Add a Disposal Location

Use the Automatic Transfer Work Order section to link the location waste is transferred from to the off-site location it will be transferred to for disposal.

IMPORTANT - The final disposal location MUST be created as an account and site first (Accounts > Add Account) so it can be searched and linked in the Automatic Transfer Work Order section.

  1. Select the green '+' icon to add a new location.

  2. Complete all required fields in the Basic Settings tab of the Add Disposal/Ship Location popup editor. Required fields are highlighted in red.

    • Consider completing additional fields based on industry/company requirements.

  3. Select the Search icon from the Automatic Transfer Work Order section.

    • Enter the name of the site in the search field of the Site Search popup window.

    • Select the site and the fields in the Automatic Transfer Work Order section will populate with the site’s information.

  4. Click Save when finished.

Setup: Transporters

Pathway: Setup > Operations > Transporters

The Transporter Setup screen identifies who will be transporting the consolidated waste to the final disposal location. Transporters added here populate the Transporter field in Manifest Consolidation Batch.

  1. Select the green '+' icon to add a new location.

  2. Complete all required fields in the Add Transporter popup editor. Required fields are highlighted in red.

    • Consider completing additional fields based on industry/company requirements.

  3. Select Save when finished.

Setup: Manifest Consolidation Eligible

Pathway: Setup > Operations > Manifest Consolidation Eligible

The Manifest Consolidation Eligible screen is used to identify which Charge Codes are eligible for Manifest Consolidation by Division, Disposal Location and LOB. When an eligible charge code is scanned it will be added to a Manifest Consolidation batch. This setup is a two part process consisting of:

  1. Assigning a Charge Code to a disposal location

  2. Assigning a Default Transfer Disposal Destination to a Charge Code

Assign a Charge Code to a Disposal Location

Identifies which Charge Codes are eligible for transfer to another location for disposal. Upon scanning an eligible item it will be added to an open batch or a new batch will be created.

  1. Select an option from each of the drop down filters: Division, Disposal Location and LOB.

  2. Click Load. Charge Codes will load based on the filters selected.

  3. Select the green '+' icon associated with the charge code to indicate the charge code as manifest consolidation eligible.

Assign a Default Transfer Disposal Destination to a Charge Code

Assign a Default Transfer Disposal Destination to a Charge Code to auto-populate the Destination field for the item in Manifest Consolidation Batch.

  1. Double click within the row of a Charge Code to open the Edit Manifest Consolidation Eligible popup editor.

  2. Select the Default Transfer Disposal Destination from within the popup editor.

    • Click away and the system will auto save the change and populate it in the Default Transfer Disposal Destination column of the of the Manifest Consolidation Eligible Setup screen.

  • No labels
