Pathway: Operations > Manifest Processing > Manifest Consolidation

Manifest Consolidation is the process of combining waste material into one manifest for transport to an offsite location where it will be destroyed. This article details the process of posting completed Transfer Work Orders.

This process is repeated for each transfer. Upon posting a Transfer Work Order, a new batch is created for the charge codes an additional transfer will include.

Attach ‘Certificate of Destruction’ to Transfer Work Order

Before the status of the Transfer Work Order can be updated to Posted, a Certificate of Destruction must be attached first.

  1. Open the Transfer Work Order from the Manifest Consolidation screen.

  2. Select the Attachments tab.

  3. Click on the green ‘+' icon and select Add Attachment. The 'Add Attachment to Service Record’ popup will display.

  4. Select Browse PDF to search for the Certificate of Destruction in a local file on your computer.

  5. Enter an External ID to identify the document.

  6. (Optional) Select the Display in Customer Portal check box if the attachment should also be available to view in the portal.

  7. Select Upload when finished. If the document has uploaded successfully it will display as a line item on the screen of the Attachments tab.

Post Work Order

After the Certificate of Destruction has been attached, the status of the work order can be updated to ‘Posted’. After posting, a new Transfer Work Order is automatically created ONLY if the posted batch included charge codes for waste that will be transferred to another location for destruction.

  1. Click on the Transfer Work Order.

  2. Select ‘Posted’ from the Posting Status drop down.

  3. Select Save. Upon save, both the work order and the status for the batch will reflect a ‘Posted’ status.
