Pathway: Operations > Route Management > Current (Tab)

The Current tab displays a listing of active service locations that have been assigned to a route. Using the Current tab, users can quickly make route modifications to one or multiple locations at a time.

Use the Current tab to make permanent changes to a service’s route assignment. In situations where a service location may need a one-time change (but should resume original setup), the Dispatch tool (Operations > Dispatch) should be used.

To modify a service location’s route from the Current tab, the following process applies:

  1. Select the Division you are assigned to.

  2. Select a Region or multiple regions.

  3. Select a Service Code.

  4. Select a Route or multiple routes.

  5. Select a Day of the Week, or multiple days.

  6. Select Load and the application will load service locations matching the selected filtering options.

  7. Select the check box to the left of the Location(s) you wish to edit to display the Site Service Schedule editor.

  8. In the Site Service Schedule editor, select a Route and enter an Effective Date. Leave the Effective Date field blank and the service’s next scheduled date will apply.

  9. Click Save Routing Change then click Post Routing Change and routes will be updated.

Before making any route changes, select the Route Summary tool to see the distribution of services across all routes. This will help to maintain a balance when assigning services to new routes.
