Apply Payments - AR Payment Batch

Pathway: Accounting > AR Payment Batch

  1. Double-click within the row of the payment batch the payment will be applied. The payment batch editor will display.

  2. Search for the account in the Search field. Accounts with matching values will display in the account section below the search.

  3. Double-click on the row of the account and it will populate in the payment section.

  4. Select the Type of payment received.

  5. Enter a Reference ID. *This is not required. Refer to your company’s policies on entries to this field.

  6. Enter a value for the Amount received.

  7. Select the Auto Apply check box and the system will automatically apply the amount entered to the oldest invoices first OR select the Apply button to manually distribute the funds received to open invoices.
