Step 2 - Shipping (Manifest Consolidation)

Pathway: Operations > Manifest Processing > Manifest Consolidation

Manifest Consolidation is the process of combining waste material into one manifest for transport to an offsite location where it will be destroyed. This article details the shipping process for Transfer Work Orders. NOTE: If the batch includes charge codes that will not be destroyed at the current location, this process will be repeated again later.

A Transfer Work Order is automatically created for a batch when the status has changed from ‘Open’ to ‘Ready to Ship’. This displays in the Transfer WO # column for a batch.

Print Shipping Documents

A batch will remain in a Ready to Ship status until it has left the facility and is en route to its final destination. To prepare a batch for shipping, the following documents are needed for transport and are found by right-clicking within the row of the batch:

  1. Shipping Report

  2. Manifest

Shipping Complete - ‘Shipped’

After the batch has left the facility and is en route to the next destination, select the Transfer Work Order from the Manifest Consolidation screen. When the Transfer Work Order displays, select ‘Shipping - Completed / Received at Destination’ from the Work Status drop down. Upon save, the status of the batch will be updated to ‘Shipped’.
