Add New Active Service

Pathway: Customer > Search > Accounts

 

Add new services to an existing customer’s account using the Add Active Service editor. Active Services display on the customer’s account in the Active Services section as well as in the Calendar on the dates the account is scheduled for servicing.

There are two ways to add an active service from the customer’s account screen:

  1. Select the green ‘+' icon from the Active Services tool bar in the customer’s account and select the service type.

  2. Right-click on the calendar day in the customer’s account the new service will begin and select Add Active Service.

Select a Reason Code to indicate how the service was acquired and enter a Start Date the service will begin.

Enter the amount of equipment in the QTY field and select the Equipment type.

Select a Service Code to identify the type of material the equipment will hold.

Select the Frequency the customer has requested for servicing.

  • If ‘On Call’ is selected the Service Days and Week of Month fields are hidden.

  • If a weekly or monthly option is selected, additional Service Days and Week of Month fields display in the editor.

Enter the Per Unit rate for the service.

Note: Additional rate charges, such as extra pick-ups or a lock bar charge, should be added in the Service Charges section by selecting the green '+' icon located below the map.

SVC Fees are calculated as QTY x Per Unit.

Select the preferred Service Days for the location to be serviced.

This field only displays when a weekly or monthly Frequency option is selected.

Enter the name of the person who signed the contract into the Requested By field.

Enter any Service Notes the driver should see each time the location is serviced.

Select the Delivery check box if equipment will be delivered to the location.

Select from the available routes to add the delivery to.

Enter a delivery date into the Date field.

Enter a one-time Work Order Note for the driver. (optional)

Example: “Place the container on the south side of the building.”
