Inactivate an Account

Pathway: Customer > Search > Accounts

If an account has not had an active service for 30 days the system will automatically inactivate it. Otherwise, to manually inactivate the account, the following process applies.

After an account has been inactivated, the calendar days in the account Calendar will display as gray to indicate the account is no longer active.

  1. From the customer’s account, select Active to display the Site Status History editor.

    Note: Select this at any time to view the Site Status History and notes.

  2. Select one of the Inactive reasons from the Status drop-down field and enter an Effective Date.

  3. Enter any Notes regarding the status change.

  4. Select Save.
