Moving Stops
Pathway: Operations > Dispatch
Reassign service locations individually or en masse using the tools available in Dispatch.
The processes outlined here assumes a route is already in-progress. If the route has not been started consider reassigning a new truck/driver to the route.
Assign a Location to a New Route
When a driver is unable to service a location for reasons outside of exceptions, the location will remain in a pending status under the Pending column and must be reassigned to a new route. Select the value from the Pending column of a route to access the Services List screen to reassign routes using the options outlined below.
Route edits here are a one-time change and the location will resume on the same route for their next scheduled servicing.
Individually
From the Services List:
Click on the Route ID for the location.
Select the new Route from the drop down list that displays.
Select Save when finished.
En Masse
From the Services List:
Select the box for each location you would like to edit. If this applies to all locations check the “Select All” box from the header row.
Select the Edit button.
Select the Route you would like to reassign the locations to.
Enter a Scheduled Date for when the locations will be placed on the route’s scheduled.
Select Save.
